Our Story

My name is Maria and I have always enjoyed creative activities. My career as an Event Planner has been my primary outlet to share my passion for creativity. I love creating things! At first, I only made baked goods for birthdays and holidays, then it turned into baby & bridal showers, company events, girl’s nights, and more! I am completely self-taught and constantly learning and loving new challenges in the baking world.

My hobby for the past five years has been baking. I love to amaze people with beautiful cakes and detailed fanciful cookies. I have recently begun to branch out into making charcuterie boxes, perfect for a socially distanced visit to the winery.

You might be wondering about the name for this venture?! My niece, a toddler, calls me ‘RaRa’ in her very imperious and often loud voice. Whatever the reason she is calling my name it is always heard with great love and affection. It was one of the first words she said, and it stuck, whether she is singing or calling my name it is always with great love and affection! It is for this reason that Love by RaRa became a perfect name for sharing my creativity with others.
